 The Cause

The Hammonton Rotary Club is a Nonprofit Organization that operates in the Town of Hammonton. We run a hand full of fund raisers throughout the year to support the many projects that we do in town and around the world.

  • We contribute constantly to the St. Vicent de Paul Society's Food Pantry
    • We've started 3 new programs at the Food Pantry in the last 5 years
      • Infant Supplies - The food pantry now has baby food and diapers for Mothers in need
      • Toiletries - Those in need of food, also tend to need items like toothpaste, toilet paper and the like.
      • Turkeys for the Holidays - During Thanksgiving and Christmas we purchase a large allotment of turkeys to hand out
      • We donate our time at least once a month at the food pantry as a club to help distribute food
    • We support many youth based programs
      • RYLA - Rotary Youth Leadership Award - It's a once in a life time opportunity for Juniors in High School to learn skills that will be tools for the rest of their lives as leaders in their field of study and community.
      • Rotary Scholarship for Seniors in High School that show an exceptional amount of support for their community through community service and academic excellence
      • Rotary has had a long tradition of supporting youth athletic teams since we were founded in 1958 and we continue the tradition every year by sponsoring one team in every sports section that the Town of Hammoton is involved in.
    • The Grafitti Clean Up Initiative
      • The Town of Hammonton is a beautiful place to live, but sometimes we have acts of pointless vandalism
      • At least twice a year we work with the Police Department of Hammoton to clean up all the Graffiti in town
    • Medical and Dental Clinics with our sister club in the Philippines
    • The Eradication of Polio through our International Organization
    • Bike Racks for the Town of Hammonton
    • Purchased the new Police Dog for the Town of Hammoton
    • And so much more and our list is always growing!
